Scholarly Sanctuary with New England Charm
The renovation has beautifully blended traditional New England elements with modern comforts, creating a serene retreat for the discerning scholar. The living space now boasts custom-built bookshelves filled with classic literature, elegantly framed by a clean, neutral color palette. Rich, deep blue upholstery contrasts with the warm tones of the leather armchair and wood accents, creating a balanced, inviting ambiance. The lighting has been updated with a sleek, contemporary chandelier, adding a touch of modern sophistication to the classic surroundings. The carefully curated artwork and thoughtful decor enhance the room’s intellectual atmosphere, making it the perfect space for reading, reflection, and relaxation.
A Study with Timeless Elegance
The study has been transformed into a sophisticated space where classic charm meets modern functionality. The client previously used this area as an extended part of their storage (dead space). At the initial visit our designer saw alot of potential in this space and transforming it into a study/office area. The rich red walls were replaced with a light, neutral palette that highlights the elegant, antique furniture. The new centerpiece, a vintage wooden desk, is beautifully complemented by a carefully curated collection of framed artwork that adds depth and character to the room. The luxurious burgundy curtains were added to make it a gallery style wall. A zebra hide rug injects a touch of bold style, making this study an inspiring environment for work and contemplation.
